Privacy
Short version: I keep your enquiry so I can answer it, it sits with my email provider and the form service, nothing is sold or shared with anyone, and you can have it deleted by asking.
Who is responsible

What I collect, and only that
Through the enquiry form: your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to put in the other fields – group size, dates, destination, comfort level and the free-text message. Nothing else, and there is no field you are obliged to fill except name and email.
If you write to me directly by email or WhatsApp instead, I hold that message the same way and for the same reasons.
This site sets no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. It loads nothing from third-party servers: the fonts are hosted here, so your browser never contacts Google or anyone else while you read. Your currency choice is stored in your own browser, not sent anywhere.
Why I hold it
To answer you, and to plan your trip if it becomes one. In GDPR terms that is Article 6(1)(b): steps taken at your request before a contract. If a trip goes ahead, the same data plus invoicing details are kept to meet Italian tax obligations, which is Article 6(1)(c).
Where it goes
The form is handled by Netlify, which hosts this site and stores submissions on servers in the United States under the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. From there it reaches my email inbox. That is the whole chain.
I do not sell data, I do not share it with other operators, and I do not send marketing. To arrange a lodge or a driver I have to give them what a reservation needs: usually your name, the number of people and the dates. Nothing beyond that, and never your species list, your message to me or anything else you tell me. You then confirm the booking yourself, in your own name, and from that point you are their customer and their own privacy terms apply.
How long I keep it
An enquiry that does not become a trip: two years, then deleted. A trip that happens: ten years, because Italian tax law requires it for the invoice and the records attached to it.
What you can ask me to do
You can ask for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, ask me to stop using it, or ask for it in a portable file. One email is enough and there is no form to fill in. I will do it within a month and usually within a few days.
If you think I have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or to the authority in your own country.
Changes
If this page changes, the date below changes with it. Nothing is applied retroactively to data already collected.
